"Pride of ownership really shows here. Grounds, rooms, breakfast, and pool were immaculately maintained. Yes, it's a tad dated decor. Who cares! The front desk clerk took his time pointing out area attractions, dining, and encouraging us to fill up ice chests! Rooms vary in price by amenities (including whether or not there is a TV in the BATHROOM!). Ours did not. But was MUCH bigger than most motel rooms with double queens. Refrigerator and microwave. $58 on a Tuesday night after Labor Day. Rooms start at ~$40 and go up. Free wifi. No coffee in room...encourages guests to gather in breakfast/arcade area to chat and get coffee. Just an ADORABLE, REASONABLE, and COMFORTABLE stay. Pass the chains and head here!!!"

"Wish you could give out 10 stars. This place is amazing. Traveling across country and this place is by far the BEST I have encountered. CLEAN and QUIET. REASONABLY-PRICED. Puts the chain hotels to shame with all this place offers. Caring owners who are genuinely concerned that you have a good experience._I only hope I am fortunate enough to find another QUALITY establishment such as this on the remainder of my trip."

"Not too bad!!! Good find in an emergency situation (no hotels 2 hours with vacancy around Marsilles). Great room, clean, and simple. B-fast was a bit lacking, don't expect much. Nice and quiet, not near the highways."

"I wanted to take the time to let everyone no how great my experience was at this hotel. This is by far the nicest little privately owned hotel that I have ever stayed in. It's not a fancy suite, but everything here was perfectly maintained and clean. The grounds were immaculate. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful! The pool was a great experience! The playground was a lot of fun for the kids. And the decor was interesting with different themes for each room. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend this very affordable hotel to anyone passing through the Murdo SD area!"

"After a long 6 hour day on the road we stopped in a few towns looking for the right hotel to allow our dog, have a pool for the kids and within our budget. Finally we found this place and it was the perfect place for us. Everyone who run it are genuinely wonderful people and it was very unique but also very well taken care of! We love this place and plan to stay here every time we go into South Dakota."
